Ryan White programs differ from state to state. Ryan White eligibility and benefits are based on the state where you live. You will always be required to re-enroll when accessing Ryan White benefits in a different state. You may be surprised or frustrated at how services in Arkansas may differ. Ryan White Case Managers (called Service Access Specialists in Arkansas) and Community Health Workers can help you navigate this process. They will help you find a Ryan White provider and supportive services in your new Arkansas community.

The Ryan White program helps people living with HIV who have little or no insurance get the help they need to live a better life. The program works with states and cities to offer this care to more than half a million people with HIV each year. Only people with HIV can apply. An enrollment application must be completed at an intake appointment at a Ryan White Service Access Center in the state.
Applicants must provide documentation to show eligibility:
proof of HIV status
proof of residency in Arkansas
proof of household size
proof of income from all sources insurance cards (if you have insurance at time of enrollment)
